Castle Vets have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly team in Clondalkin, Dublin. We are looking for someone progressive and enthusiastic, who can provide leadership for our nursing team while our current practice manager is on Maternity Leave.
For the past 25 years we have been committed to providing high quality, friendly, trusted, and affordable veterinary care in Clondalkin. We are currently a team of 5 vets, 5 supportive qualified nurses and an enthusiastic animal care assistant. We try to keep things light-hearted in the clinic, there’s always a joke to be had and someone to do a coffee run if necessary (because who really likes instant). Our clinic is fully equipped with up to date medical and surgical facilities, digital x-ray , dental x-ray and our own in-house laboratory, but if there’s equipment we don’t have we’ll do our best to get it for you.
Our clients are friendly, dedicated and great to work with. Many have been attending the clinic for decades. We try to make sure we have plenty of time to work up cases and form good relationships with clients.
More about the role:
- 40hr week
- 1:4 weekend/bank holiday rota
- 4 day week – combination of Nursing hours and administration hours
- Initially Maternity Leave cover with a view to extending to permanent lead nurse role for the right candidate
- Competitive salary per annum depending on experience.
